「What innovations would you like to see in the future?」
Last Friday, Jonathan asked us this question in class. At that time, Jessica answered "the door of Doreamon", (Most of us all wanted it but Jonathan said that considering about the security system it is infeasible. ) Samantha said "VirtualReality sport machine" which has better functions than "Wii" that it can make you feel you are really surfing in the ocean; it won't make you feel tired after mountain climbing. Areil wanted "Magic drug" that can magically make people eat more but lose more weight. Rebecca also imagined a machine that can make you do exercising during sleep. Hah~ you can see we girls are always lazy but good day dreamers.
To me, I want to see "univeral translator machine." Although there is a universal language "English" today, not all people can speak it fluently. I want to see people all over the world communicating with each other without language barriers.

Furthermore~
Yesterday after watching the movie "21"in Breeze Center, I originally planned to take a bus home. However, when I saw there was no rain, I changed my mind immediately without considering that I was wearing a pair of shoes that had short-heel shoes. Finally, I spent 40 minutes walking home and hurt my toes.
I see it is a enjoyable time to take a walk under a wide sky in Taipei. At the same time, it is hard for me to give up the desire to walk when I want to do it. However, sometimes I was not wearing the right shoes to walk so most of my shoes with heels always were shortened quickly.
Yesterday on my way home, I came up with a new idea on shoes that I can wear it as high heels in formal situation and change them without heels when walking along the street. This innovation could make girls like me who always start walking on impulses don't have to worry about the heels after a long walk. I told Ariel my idea about this kind of shoes. We both think it is possible and useful but this product might be a niche market. Hah~
It is really interesting to do brainstorming, creating work with imagination,
innovations: 創新
infeasiblle: 不可實行的
VirtualReality: 模擬實境
surfing : 沖浪
day dreamers: 夢想家
translator: 翻譯機
barrier:障礙
"21":「決戰21點」是一部有關MIT高材生為籌學費進Harvard Medical school玩21點的驚險故事。
on impulses: 衝動
niche market: 利基市場。指某商品市場需求少。
brainstorming:腦力激盪
